We do not collect any other PI, and any data about you that we may have on file remains your personal property, and will be deleted upon your request.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and we hold certain information (sometimes including PII) in these data structures.

KRIN International will take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

If KRIN International is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Under certain circumstances, KRIN International may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

4) Legal Basis and Protection
4.1) Purpose and Legal Grounds for Collecting PII
(a) KRIN collects your email address and user password because you use these to sign in to your account. The legal ground for collecting your email address for this purpose is based on KRIN’s legitimate interest in protecting your account’s security and the security of other data on the KRIN web site.
(b) KRIN stores your contact data in order to send you information related to KRIN activities, conferences, and material changes to our Privacy Practices. You may opt out of receiving such notices as described below.
(c) If you provide your opt-in consent to receiving marketing information from KRIN, KRIN will also process your email address for the purpose of sending you marketing information about KRIN events, conferences, opportunities, and other matters directly related to the KRIN mission. The legal ground for processing your email address for this purpose is your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time as described in the section Your Rights. (KRIN does not share your PII with other parties or affiliates.)
(d) KRIN also processes your email address to associate it with your KRIN account when you interact with our staff or representatives. The legal ground for this processing is our legitimate interest in providing quality customer support.
(e) We collect your name, mailing address and telephone number in order to process your order and fulfill your purchase. Our legal ground for collecting and processing this data is (1) performance of a contract and (2) our legitimate interest in protecting KRIN and our customers from attempts to engage in fraudulent transactions. (This information is not permanently stored by KRIN, but may be transferred to a third party for the express purpose of fulfilling a transaction on your behalf.)
(e) We collect other personal information such as skill sets, experience, language proficiency, etc., in order to assemble appropriate relief teams for deployment to North Korea. Our legal ground for this collection is your express consent to collect such data.

If you are from the European Economic Area (EEA), KRIN International legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described in this Privacy Policy depends on the Personal Data we collect and the specific context in which we collect it.

KRIN uses cloud services from third parties such as Cloudflair (our web hosting service) to store data and to send emails.
KRIN also may use services such as Stripe, PayPal and commercial credit card gateways.
In no case does KRIN provide any data other than the minimum needed to provide the specific individualized Service (such as a credit card transaction or an event registration).
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), provide the Service on our behalf, perform Service-related Services or assist us in analysing how our Service is used.
These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

We may provide paid products and/or services within the Service. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).
We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

7) Links to Other Sites
Our Service contains links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”).
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
