November Prayer Requests

“Prayer should not be regarded as a duty which must be performed, but rather as a privilege to be enjoyed, a rare delight that is always revealing some new beauty.”

E.M. Bounds

November 1-7

  • Please pray for the KRIN International Board & Facilitation Team as we develop policies, give oversight to the budget and seek new funding sources in order to prepare for the time when we can serve the people of NK.
  • Pray for Miguel as he moves to South Korea this month and starts his language classes in December, Lord willing.
  • Pray for the 17 Christian Aid Ministries missionaries kidnapped in Haiti. For wisdom for CAM President David Troyer and the board in responding, conversion of kidnappers, and supernatural intervention.
  • Pray for representatives of the countries who are challenging the North Korea regime to properly serve their citizens.
  • Pray for protection for defectors who are suffering trauma, as they adjust to a wholly different culture wherever they are living.
  • Pray for God’s grace and love to be demonstrated by the churches to defectors in the South.
  • Praise from Service Sector 4: I am thankful God had me meet a Christian Korean woman at a new Bible Study I joined at a partner church. We will exchange teaching each other Korean and English tutors.

November 8-14

  • Please pray for the salvation of the Kim family and those in the NK politburo and for them to lead their people biblically with the heart of God.
  • Pray for the people of NK as they face another famine and closed borders. Pray for holes in the border to open and allow assistance to be delivered.
  • As a result of the famine and lack of goods, the spread of disease has accelerated. Pray for miraculous healings through the underground church to take place in order to further the Gospel and glorify God’s name.
  • Pray for God to raise up Co-Leaders for our Service Sectors. Jesus sent His disciples out in pairs and our sector leaders are feeling the need for support as the time draws close for NK to open.
  • Praise from Service Sector 11: We are thankful that our middle daughter just got engaged to a believing good guy. I am thankful that my brother who had COVID got off a ventilator and is home as he only had a 4% chance to live.
And our youngest daughter who serves in India came home for a 3 week visit.

November 15-21

  • Pray for Service Sector 4 as they explore TPM, transformational prayer ministry. Reliance on Christ’s death and resurrection –His restoration of heart & soul for the Korean people is fundamental. Having the tools and know-how is paramount for the Reconciliation and Inner Healing Service Sector.
  • Pray for an indigenous church to emerge among North Koreans, one that worships and studies God’s Word in a North Korean way.
  • Pray for protection for trauma sufferers, especially defectors who struggle to adjust to a wholly different culture in the South.
  • Pray that all who encounter NK defectors will demonstrate kindness, love, and God’s grace as we become the very hands and feet of Jesus in their lives and experiential knowledge.

November 22-30

  • Pray for Service Sector 11. I made a number of new contacts with people who are interested in NK. Please pray that these lead to partnerships in ministry.
  • Pray for all those who are currently learning the Korean language so that we can speak directly with those we love. Pray for the Lord to give us grace and that our tongues would pick it up quickly.
  • Pray for the Korean elections coming up next March of 2022, that God would be present over those and place the right man in power.
  • Continue praying for the evangelization of all North Koreans everywhere. Pray for massive amounts of Gospel sowing. Pray for small groups to gather to study the Word.
  • Pray that the NKs who receive Bibles will have a deep hunger to read God’s Word.
